Overview

ACES (Association of Computer Engineering Students) is a collaboration of all the Computer engineering students and the staff of the college. It unites all the students to participate and contribute towards the activities organized by all year students of the Computer engineering field. Computer is a key component of our built environment in many ways. ACES of JIT, Nashik offer programs which consistently strive to provide a support system and enrich knowledge for students in the field of computer engineering. This unique program is established to provide students with not only basic computer skills, but also enriching experiences to shape their future as well. ACES of JIT, Nashik was founded with a vision to explore beyond the boundaries of textbooks and thus invent a whole new world of technologies for computer engineers. ACES organizes various programs such as seminars, webinars, alumni meet, online projects, placement training with techfest being one of its most successful endeavors.

Goals

ACES aims at developing the usual tasks involving computer engineers which include writing software and firmware, designing the web, and designing the operating systems. ACES prepares students to meet ever-increasing global challenges of rapidly evolving technologies so as to prepare the students for both industries and higher institutions of learning.

Scope

ACES strives to advance the theory, practice, and application of computer and information processing science and technology and maintains a high professional standard among its members. It promotes cooperation and exchange of technical information among its members by conducting various seminars and workshops.

Activities

• NNSC (National Network Security Championship) - 100 participants
• Teachers Day Celebration by organizing Painting competition in Zila Parishad School at Govardhan Gao.
• On the occasion of Engineers Day Association organized an all generations Computer and peripherals exhibition with presentations and video clips.
